Food Insecurity in Guelph

I have had the pleasure of meeting some very dedicated local organizations such as:
- Rooted
- GreenTech AgriFood
- The Seed

My goal is to find out how they are dealing with the skyrocketing food prices here in Guelph.

One of my key takeaways is knowing that we can fight food insecurity in Guelph by innovating resources within our own community. We need to work with these organization and capitalize on our city’s unique advantages as the key to creating stronger and more sustainable food systems for everyone.

Credit Reporting for Renters

Housing in Ward 6 needs practical solutions and rent is the single largest bill paid every month for renters living across South Guelph.

As Ward 6 continues to grow, we need leadership that focuses on housing policies that protect you.

The 8 hectare parcel of land has been declared excess by the GRCA.

  • The city has requested 30% of the proceeds

  • A full groundwater survey needs to be completed to determine the full effect of development to the surrounding area
